IMPORTANT UPDATE - VACCINES
Submitted By Lauren Addison on Tue 09 21, 21
Kawartha Coyotes Members,

Beginning Wednesday September 22, 2021, the new Haliburton Kawartha Pineridge District Health Unit Vaccination Policy takes effect. Please note the changes below to the new Covid Protocols already in place when you arrive at the arena for your ice times.

Players
→ Each player entering the facility will still be allowed entry (with proof of vaccination or not) until October 31, 2021.
→ Beginning November 1, 2021 all players 12 years of age and older will be required to be fully vaccinated.  These players must have had their second dose on or before October 16, 2021 to be allowed to continue to enter, and participate at any facility running programming associated with the OMHA.

Spectators→ All spectators 12 and over entering the facility, must show proof of full vaccination prior to being granted entry to the facility.
→ Upon arriving at the facility the Covid Representative for your age group will request to see your Proof of Vaccination Document along with one piece of Photo Identification.
→ Kawartha Minor Hockey Association will not be retaining any Vaccination Records.

Beginning September 22, 2021 our Covid Check In will include a question regarding the Covid Vaccination Policy as an attestation of proof of vaccination.

We would like to remind all of our members that are following our current protocols:
→ All individuals entering the facility must arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the ice time to be allowed entry.  We will not be permitting entrance to individuals that are arriving after this time.
→ Please arrive with a maximum of 2 spectators per player (including siblings of the player and adults)  the facility has a maximum capacity and if that number is reached the remaining individuals will not be allowed entry.
→ Please check in using the Covid screening on the day of your ice time.
→ If you have someone that has not brought your player to the arena in the past, please inform the new individual of the rules and that proof of vaccination will be requested at the door.
→ Entry to the arena will only be allowed at the beginning of the ice time and at the end of the ice time.  Re-entry during the ice time is not permitted.
→ Please follow all flow plans at each arena you attend.
→ No outside food or drinks are permitted in the arena.

We would like to thank our members for the continued support, as we all work together to make this the best and safest situation possible for all of our members.

Thank you,
Kawartha Minor Hockey Executive
